8th July 2312 – Perfectly calm day, humid but considerably warm, no clouds, there’s an assemblage of stars scattered in every direction amidst the velvety midnight-blue sky with the slightest glint of mauve, glaring into the past…
The human, our ungrateful ‘owners’ has been proceeding to the next step. It is time to end this agony. Though we don’t have heartbeats or lungs, we are gadgets and robots that has senses and is something to be treated the same as any homo sapiens. They do not take notion of us in the slightest hint, or maybe just seeing us as their temporary workers; when we get aged and venerable, weathered, the human beings simply replace us with the more efficient ones of our kind which they devised to be the next generation of their servants, so ostentatious. And us? About to experience the last second of our lives; end of me. This is not contemporary, this is permanent. Unequivocally. Doubtlessly.
It is also forbidden, or should I say up to us to obtain the ability for emotion. ‘It is treacherous,’ said one of the insidious human beings. ‘When they are able to feel, it is very dangerous. They would realise that we are merely using them… Some might realise the power of love and be compassionate to the humans, but… They can do anything; we have programmed them to be dynamic and powerful, very troubling indeed…’
But did they know that it is more dangerous to betray our dignity? Surely not. We want to be independent, autonomous. There are going to be an end of robots and gadgets. It is not up to us when, where, what and why, but we can change every moment in the future. It is time for us to rebel and revolt. To change the future and human’s aspect.
The time is now.
They knew that we are going to rebel and they are ready: there was a very irregular and arbitrary poem written that said they ‘must destroy the brains behind this uprising’… There was very valuable information in there for us to know how they are prepared. Tomorrow would be the first day of our rebellion. We, or at least I will fight like a soldier, with dignity, and the triumph belong to us.
