Coach Shane 是美国的一位帮助热爱英语的人更好地掌握英语的老师,他的微博口号是:“Helping students master english !”。
据我所知,老师已经推出四个作品,按照难度级别分别是:E-cubed(Daily Easy English Expression日常英语轻松表达),Daily English Dictation(DD每日听写),DDM(Daily Dictation Members会员每日听写),PIRF(Pronunciation, Intonation, Rhythm and Flow发音、语调、节奏和流畅);其中DDM和PIRF是收费的,有志提高自己相应能力的朋友可以去听老师的课程,在老师的微博就可以找到报名链接(老师人挺不错,算是帮老师宣传一下吧)。在学习他的DD时,发现视频下面字幕不完整且有部分错误,我就尝试在网上找了一下资源,发现只有一个叫“译学馆”的网站上有DD的字幕(只做了五个视频且大量错误,有时间的同学可以去看一看我说的是这样的情况不)。于是我决定做把自己的分享出来,帮助大家在看Coach Shane老师的DD作品时有不懂的,可以来参照,哈哈。

George had the first line, George from the Seinfeld.

Now, a lot of students, I know, do have some problems.

Now, we get two sounds, sound the same
[ɡet tu? sa?ndz]

Now we connect the sounds, and we only keep the second one

“do you “, the faster we say, the ‘you’ gets shorter.

There is a pronunciation rule. I call it the 7Hs.

And words are “he her him his had has have”

Now, this words are very common in daily English

And a lot of native speakers, specially Americans
并且许多当地人,特别是美国人
When we say it fast, when we speak it quickly.
当我们快速说它的时候
We can’t hear the ‘h’ sound.
我们听不到 'h’的音
Ok, the H is Cancelled. It’s a cancellation.
好,'h’被省略。这是一个吞音现象
So ‘do you have’, if we say it fast: ‘do you have’
我们快速读的话是:‘do you have’
When we say it slow,”…”
当我们慢点说时
And we say it quickly once again
我们再一次快速读它
We can get rid of the “h” sound
我们可以摆脱 'h’的发音
… …
We have a /v/ sound here, and ‘five’, it’s a /f/ sound, right?
这里分别有一个/v/和/f/的音(仔细听会发现 'a’听不出来)
So we have similar sounds, we connect the sound, and only keep this one.
因此这里有两个相似的发音,我们连读时只会读一个
Just like ‘what time’, no, ‘what time’
就像 ‘what time’ 是 ‘what time’
‘have five’, no, ‘have five’
‘have five’ 是 ‘have five’
Now, the key, everybody, when you’re speaking English
现在,重要的是当大家正在讲英语时
Say it like a human: ‘what time do you have?’
像他们其中一人说它:‘你知道几点了吗?’
This’s OK, or, you can look your watch
没问题,或者,你可以看看你的手表
My watch is not work, what time do you have?
我的表不工作了,你知道几点吗?
And you gotta check your watch
并且你去看你的表
or you check your phone, check your watch: “I have five o’clock”

发音规则(听力拦路虎):
连读:
did you /d? d?u/

添加连读(元音+元音=添加(j)/(w))
Familiar [f??m?li(j)?r]
So in this case. [so?(w)?n n??s ke?s] 元音+元音,添加连读[so?(w)?n]
注: /a/, /e/, /i/添加(j);/o/, /u/添加(w)

7H规则(He his him her had have has的 'H’不发音)

浊化:
①两个元音之间时需进行浊化
get it [ɡed ?t]
a lot of [? lɑ?t ?v]
Native [?ne?t?v]
② /s/后是清辅音,清辅音将被浊化
Discuss with [d??sk?s w??] /s/后/k/被浊化为/g/

单方向省略(浊辅音+清)
Have 5 o’clock [h?v fa?v]

N是强音,th是弱音,th被省略
So in this case. [so?(w)?n n??s ke?s]

语法:
动词前添加“do”用于加强语气

背景知识:
The Great Pumpkin 中文译作南瓜大王,出现于《花生漫画》中,我们熟悉的小狗史努比就是源自其中,the Great Pumpkin是在每年的万圣节的晚上给孩子负责发糖果和礼物,就好像除夕夜的圣诞老人一样。寓意来自于漫画中的女主Linus每年都会待在南瓜多的地方等待着南瓜大王的到来,但他却从未出现,Linus并未放弃,依旧每年的万圣节的晚上等待着南瓜大王的到来。
这就好像是说我们每个人的心中都会有一个faith,简单而又普通,对别人来说获取荒诞无稽,而对于我们自己来说则异常的珍贵,埋藏于心灵的最深处,神圣而又不可侵犯。
