What is a Image?
The description of a digital image, when x, y and the amplitude values of f are:
finite 有限
discrete quantities 离散
Each of element having a particular location and values, these elements are called: Pixels
What is a Digital Image?
Digital image is referring to the image which is stored in digital format.
Digitization implies that a digital image is an approximation of a real scene
Common image formats include:
1 sample per point (B&W or Grayscale)
3 samples per point (Red, Green, and Blue)
4 samples per point (Red, Green, Blue, and “Alpha(透明度)”, a.k.a.(also known as) Opacity)
